About
Founder-led. Globally reported.
Women don't lack powerful stories. They lack the visibility, networks, and opportunities to make those stories — and the women behind them — go further. Women Stories Network was built to close that gap.

Women Stories Network
Nearly two decades reporting across the United States and the Middle East — and a conviction that women's stories deserve to travel.
Sheikha Aldosary is an Arab American journalist, communications strategist, and entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience across the United States and the Middle East. Her reporting on women's rights and social change has appeared in The New York Times, AFP, and The Washington Post, and her work has been recognized with the International Center for Journalists' Best Media Entrepreneur Award for the Middle East and the EU Chaillot Prize for Human Rights.
She has collaborated with the National Endowment for Democracy, Free Press Unlimited, UN agencies, and the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh on women's empowerment and media initiatives, and holds an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Arizona.
Sheikha founded and led Saudi Women Stories, an award-winning storytelling and empowerment platform, for seven years — work that surfaced hundreds of stories and taught her that women don't lack material, they lack access to the networks and opportunities that make stories travel. That insight became Women Stories Network: built to turn visibility into connection, and connection into opportunity, for women everywhere.
